Veronica A. Thornton, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and fellowship-trained neuropsychologist with clinical interests in the areas of neuropsychology rehabilitation psychology, and health psychology. Dr. Thornton earned her Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Central Michigan University. She completed her neuropsychology-track clinical internship at John D. Dingell VA Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan and completed her neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship as part of AdventHealth’s neuropsychology team in Winter Park. She has been involved in research related to performance validity testing, psychometric assessment, brain connectivity and again, and health practices and has presented her research finding at several well-respected neuropsychological conferences. Dr. Thornton sees adult outpatient neuropsychology patients at our Winter Park clinic and consults on an inpatient-basis in the rehabilitation unit and other hospital-based specialty medical units.
